Why Choose Lianda's Dutch Weave Metal Mesh?
Dutch weave woven wire mesh is manufactured from stainless steel wire. Different from plain weave woven wire mesh and twill woven wire mesh, the dutch weave woven wire mesh has different diameter in the weft and warp directions. Commonly the warp wire is coarser wire, which can supply the high tensile strength for the wire mesh. The weft wire is finer wire, which can ensure the excellent filtering performance. This unique structure with greater strength and finer openings is primarily used as a filter cloth.Need a reliable Dutch weave wire mesh solution? Our Products

Heavy warp wires and tightly packed weft wires create fine, consistent filtration channels. Available in 304 SS, 316L SS, and brass. Mesh range: 24×110–200×1400. Filtration: 5–200 µm. Ideal for hydraulic oil filtration, chemical processing, and polymer extrusion.

Heavier weft and finer warp wires provide a stiff mesh with high open area and excellent cleanability. Filtration: 10–500 µm. Used in self-cleaning filter systems, continuous belt filters, and flat-surface filtration applications.

A twill weave creates a denser, stronger mesh with higher tensile strength and finer filtration than plain Dutch weave. Filtration: 2–80 µm. Ideal for high differential pressure applications and processes requiring superior mechanical strength.

Multiple layers of Dutch weave mesh are sintered into a rigid panel for superior strength, dimensional stability, and pressure resistance. Filtration: 1–40 µm. Ideal for high-integrity filter elements, gas turbine inlet filtration, and demanding industrial applications.

Why Choose Lianda Dutch Weave Mesh?

At Lianda, we manufacture every Dutch weave mesh in-house. From weaving and sintering to cutting and final inspection, every step is completed in one facility by our experienced team. You’re not buying through a trading company you work directly with the manufacturer, ensuring consistent quality, reliable lead times, and the same documented specification for every batch.
Customer Reviews
In square weave, warp and weft wires are the same diameter and equally spaced — filtration rating and open area are directly tied to mesh count. In Dutch weave, the warp wires are coarser and more widely spaced, and the fine weft wires pack tightly together. This creates a filtration surface where the channel between weft wires controls the particle cutoff — not the overall mesh count. You get finer filtration at higher open area than square weave of equivalent wire size. That translates to lower pressure drop and longer service intervals for the same micron rating.
Mesh size influences the balance between filtration efficiency, particle retention capacity, flow rate, and service life. Finer effective mesh openings enhance filtration precision but increase pressure drop, whereas larger openings allow for higher flow rates but result in relatively lower filtration efficiency. Selecting the appropriate Dutch weave mesh requires matching the mesh specifications to the specific application’s filtration requirements, operating pressure, and expected throughput.
At Lianda, Dutch weave mesh is available in stainless steel, nickel alloys, titanium, and other specialty materials. We can recommend the most suitable alloy based on your filtration accuracy, process fluid, operating temperature, pressure, and service life requirements.
